Camp Fredwards is a weekend celebration of Sarah and Fred’s love and commitment to each other, shared with family and friends.
To be clear, the LOCATION of this weekend event is Camp Friendship in Palmyra, Virginia.

Of course not!! While the camp is available from Thursday 4pm to Sunday 3pm, we invite guests to join for as much or as little as they wish. Come and go as you please.
The main event will be the Ceremony and Reception on Saturday evening.

Our Friday evening event, Saturday Ceremony and Reception, and overnight on-site cabin lodging will be child-free.
Children are welcome at Camp Fredwards during the other unstructured times. However, guests will need to arrange childcare if planning to attend the Friday or Saturday evening events and/or staying on-site.

Camp will still take place in the event of rain!
We have various covered or indoor backup plans for the Ceremony and Cocktail Hour in the event of rain.
The Reception is currently planned to be indoors.

On-site lodging is available to all at $40 pp/night, which includes linens. Additional information is available on the Travel page.
Breakfast and lunch (or brunch on Saturday) is available on-site for $12/breakfast and $15/lunch/brunch. We will be collecting headcounts for all meals in the months leading up to the weekend.
Payments will be organized by Sarah and Fred in late summer/fall 2025.
Dinners/alcohol/camp activities/fun/joy will be provided at no cost!

We’ll be finalizing this in the months leading up to the weekend so stay tuned! We plan for there to be various scheduled activities that guests can choose to participate in.
In addition to scheduled camp activities, there is a small lake for swimming, sand volleyball courts, hiking trails, tennis courts, basketball gym, and athletic fields that will be available for use throughout the weekend.
